i'm an evolutionist.
one cannot argue that evolution isn't a fact.
however, i'd be interested in the better informed amongst us here explaining in simple terms how the feeling of love evolved.
Levels of intelligence - our ability to imagine what someone else thinks - we can see and find happiness in the happiness of another
We can think in degrees of depth unlike other animals eg: we can think that someone else thinks that we think something - we can even project in writing such that an audience will think that someone else thinks that another is thinking something
- people who don't love are also said to "not be wise"

i have noticed more and more boe letters and congregational letters that are written by the "christian congregation of jehovah's witnesses".
letters from the society are supposed to come from the watch tower bible & tract society.
If the bible said that the "special truly saved people" must be of the order of Spongebob Squarepants they'd call themselves that too - The Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses of the true order of Spongebob Squarepants
As long as they voice claim to everything then they even seem to believe it themselves - "say it and it's so" kind of thing
why does jesus come and go all the time?.
first, people waited for thousands of years for him to come.. so he comes in 2bc finally - but then leaves in 33ad.

after reading auld soul's thread on babtism and the request for over year for any one to justify the wbts' requirements based on scripture,...(with no answer), i started to wonder what are the requests for numbers from the wbts based on.. did christ request a certain amount of time every month for preaching to qualify for what he promised?
did he count those attending his sermons to justify what he was preaching?
what about the so called "pioneer" program?
It's based on the bible in the sense that they are the holy spirit - not only are they the holy spirit but they are the messengers of the holy spirit and as such it seems good to them now if they count your time.
It's all bible based - just depends on how you read the bible

and get viewpoints on what kinds of mental health effects the wts.
may have for most of the people that are practicing witnesses.
Mental health is a fundamental part of christian spirituality, of being Christ-like - knowing who you are - I Am who I Am - being fair dinkum and down to earth about it (humble: from humous/earth)
Jws have fear upon fear, and concerns about demon possessed items, demons under the bed or jumping in their head, and 'postates, and the world ending (real soon anytime now), and not being worthy etc etc,
Aside from even all those bizarre distractions is the basic idea about not even being who you are, not thinking for yourself, denying what you believe and forcing a belief that doesn't gel while you simply deny the flaws in it. One becomes unwhole - not wholly
Good mental health is about being holy (whole) - saying and accepting what is true regardless of whether it seems to be disadvantageous.
In the story of the emporer's new clothes who was healthy mentally - I'd say the boy,
mark 2:13-17jesus went out again beside the lake; the whole crowd gathered around him, and he taught them.
as he was walking along, he saw levi son of alphaeus sitting at the tax booth, and he said to him, follow me.
and as he sat at dinner in levis house, many tax-collectors and sinners were also sitting with jesus and his disciplesfor there were many who followed him.
Why does the WTS only look for righteous members?
Advertising - they attempt to portray that it is actually possible to follow their rules, and earn the divine - they seek out examples for show

The discreet part could perhaps be explained then by the facelessness of those pulling the strings.
